The Masked Singer finally returned this weekend and saw a whole host of celebrities take to the stage dressed as some of the quirkiest animals and object costumes the show has seen.
As usual, many fans whipped out their pads and pens to write down their guesses for each of the characters and began to guess who they thought could be behind the mask.
During Sunday night’s show, Pufferfish made their debut on the show and sang the popular song Good Luck, Babe, by Chappell Roan.
Before taking to the stage, their VT ran which gave the judges and the viewers at home an array of clues which left many to guess the same person.
In the background, a rubber spider was shown in close-up on her hairbrush, with the panel thinking this could suggest a link to I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
Pufferfish caught an American football in the VT, which was one of a few clues that had the judges suspecting she is from the US before adding: “The Empire State is just too hard to miss out on”.

The secret star also threw a pair of dice that landed on a five and six, suggesting a possible link with a game show and said: “It runs in the family”,appearing to hint at famous relatives.
Pufferfish squashed a rubber chicken with her blue platform boot, before “You were great” was seen being written on a bunch of flowers signed by “SJP” – with the judges linking it to actress Sarah Jessica Parker.
After the performance, the final riddle revealed: “Being puffed up all day can feel so excessive, sometimes being small is just as impressive.”
Davina McCall was convinced that Pufferfish could be US actress Hayden Panettiere, whilst new judge Maya Jama guessed Nicole Richie.

Mo Gilligan reckoned that the spider shown in Pufferfish’s VT was definitely linked to I’m a Celebrity before guest judge Vicky McClure made a good suggestion with Kelly Osbourne.
Fans were quick to shut down their guesses and took to their social media account to claim that Pufferfish was in fact Jamie Lynn Spears.
On Reddit, one user penned: “Okay so this wasn’t my idea but I’ve seen it somewhere and totally agree with it. Pufferfish could be Jamie-Lynn Spears?
“The spider in the clue package could refer to her time on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2023, she is of American descent which explains the accent, the dice roll equalling 11.
“She first became famous at age 11 with her first acting role, ‘Runs in the family’ – the sister of famous pop singer Britney Spears (and) ‘small but just as impressive’ – she is the younger sister, and shorter.”
“That’s exactly who I was thinking!” another user replied before a second added: “Omg I think it’s her!”
