ChatGPT doesn’t hold back with its critiques, with one user claiming they ‘just got dragged to hell’
To take part in the trend, you’ll first need to create an account with ChatGPT.
Once you’re all set up, simply take a screenshot of your Instagram feed and attach it in a message to ChatGPT, alongside the caption ‘roast my instagram feed in one paragraph.’
Within seconds, the AI bot will assess your feed and give you its feedback.
I innocently asked ChatGPT what it thought about my Instagram profile, but quickly regretted that decision.
Having recently got married, my feed is full of wedding photos, with the odd holiday snaps, selfies, and posts about my work littered in between.
‘Your Instagram feed feels like it’s having a bit of an identity crisis, torn between being an aesthetic wedding album and a chaotic personal scrapbook,’ ChatGPT told me.
‘One moment you’re living the dream as the picture-perfect wedding guest, and the next, you’re chilling with a cocktail like you’ve just escaped a 9-to-5 prison.

‘The travel shots are trying to give off “wanderlust vibes,” but then there’s that random selfie where you look like you’ve just survived a work meeting that should’ve been an email.

Ouch.
Next, we tested it with the profile of one of the most popular people on Instagram – Kim Kardashian.
‘Your Instagram feed is the ultimate shrine to self-obsession, where every post is either a calculated flex or a not-so-subtle reminder that you’re living on a different planet of fame and wealth,’ ChatGPT said of the billionaire’s profile.
‘It’s a dizzying carousel of fashion, luxury, and perfectly curated family moments that scream, “Look at me, but pretend I’m just like you.”
‘Your Instagram feed is the ultimate shrine to self-obsession, where every post is either a calculated flex or a not-so-subtle reminder that you’re living on a different planet of fame and wealth,’ ChatGPT said of Kim Kardashian’s profile
However, the AI bot was unable to say anything mean about NASA’s Instagram profile. ‘Ah, the NASA Instagram feed—where the universe comes to flex its aesthetic,’ it said
‘Between the strategic SKIMS plugs and the constant stream of photoshoots, it’s like you’re perpetually auditioning for a role you already landed years ago.
‘If there were a gold medal for making everything about you, this feed would be the undisputed champion.’
However, the AI bot was unable to say anything mean about NASA’s Instagram profile.
‘Ah, the NASA Instagram feed—where the universe comes to flex its aesthetic,’ it said.
‘Your feed is like the ultimate space nerd’s dream, where every swipe is another reminder that your vacation photos will never look this cool.

One user joked: ‘Have y’all seen that IG trend of asking ChatGPT to roast your feed? Well, RIP me bc this is the most savage takedown I’ve ever been the victim of’
