When wanting to look younger, there are several options out there including diet shifts and changes in lifestyle to anti-age.
However, a quick application of makeup is an excellent way to get wrinkle-free skin and a youthful look.
Jentri Quinn, who has 25 years of experience in the beauty industry, took to YouTube to share tips with women how they can get younger-looking skin fast.
She said: “My makeup tips will make you look younger in a matter of seconds. My first tip is with primer, there is a lot of discussion at the moment about whether or not you need it and if it is any different to facial moisturiser. I’m here to tell you that there is a difference.”
The expert recommended using a primer

The expert said that using a primer is excellent as it stays on for longer and keeps your makeup looking good during the day.
She advised: “Silicon is used in primers and they help smooth out the texture of your skin, especially if you have a texture that does not feel really nice.
“Primer is one of my favourite things, especially if you’re over 40 years of age. It’s not because of just the age, it is about the skin and how it changes.”
Collagen in people’s bodies is lost at a more rapid rate as people age and the expert said a good makeup application can counteract this and make your skin look smoother.
She discussed focusing on the eye area along with other simple and easy things for people to do.
She said: “There are so many things that you can do which are inexpensive, time-saving and easy. After 40 especially, it is all about doing things to liven our skin, our face, our eyes. One of the things I love to use is my matte beige brow highlighter. That is because it’s such a simple tool. You can use a concealer that does similar things, you can use different highlighters too.”
It is important to make sure the skin underneath your eyes is well-moisturised too as our bodies don’t have oil glands there which can lead to the skin becoming drier.
The expert said: “You want to use something underneath the brow bone to give you an instant eye lift.”

For foundation, it is important to not apply too much as a large quantity can make the makeup appear creased.
The expert said: “When it comes to foundation, you really want something that’s going to cover really well and it’s also going to give you a nice smooth, even appearance without you having to apply a lot of additional makeup products.
“The big secret around choosing a great foundation for more mature skin really starts with the preparation of the skin. Make sure your skin is nice and hydrated. Make sure you follow that up with a primer.”
The target is to not feel you have to re-apply your makeup during the day and that it will stay settled before you take it off.
